Speeding and Vehicular ASB in Yateley, Blackwater and Hawley

Good morning!

With 2026 now in full swing, we continue to do our best to deliver a safer Hart North, focussing on issues we know our communities feel are a priority in their area.

I'll put out a bit more about what we're targeting in due course, however we know that the residents of Blackwater and Hawley feel that road safety is concern where they live.

Already we're completing speed checks in Hawley, with our Roads Policing Unit conducting a session on Hawley Road on Monday.

Four vehicles were calculated as driving over 30mph and were dealt with at the roadside. The fastest vehicle was sighted travelling at 43mph.

We'll continue these efforts throughout the new year with dedicated speed checks and targeted operations, and are working alongside Surrey and Thames Valley Police, Blackwater & Hawley Town Council, Hampshire County Council and the local community to keep you safe.
